The Bible Answers Three Key Questions

1. IS THERE A GOD?

2. IF THERE IS GOD, WHAT IS HE SAYING?

3. IF THERE IS GOD, HOW IS HE LIKE?

1. YES, there is God, the Maker of the heavens and the earth. All that is around us which we didn't make should leave us in no doubt about that (Romans 1:19-20, "because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse" NKJV).

2 HE SAYS all we humans have sinned against Him, and prove our guilt and sinfulness by our selfish anti-God tendencies and acts of wickedness against others. Because of this we are doomed to toil, die and face His judgement afterwards. However, He has promised to forgive everyone of us that admits his guilt and forsakes his sinfulness. He is so completely ready to wipe out our guilt and give us eternal life that He made Jesus Christ die to bear all due punishment for sins (This is practically the summary of the Bible's message, and you may see specifically, Genesis 3:18-19, Ezekiel 18:20-21, Luke 24:46-47).

3. THE FULLNESS of God's nature is seen in Jesus Christ (Hebrews 1:1-3,  "God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; who being the brightness of His glory and the EXPRESS IMAGE OF HIS PERSON, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high").

It is our faith in the foregoing that makes us Christians, and that is how our lives are guided. If you are not yet a Christian, consider this as your invitation to be one. Get a good Bible, and come to church.
