LIVING WITH UNBELIEVERS

Image
From the Christian point of view, unbelievers are people who do not live according to faith in Jesus Christ. They may know or even admire Him, but they do not believe He is worth the following He demands. We Christians live among many unbelievers; and an awareness of their types would not only help us maximize our impact on them, but also save us unnecessary heartaches, especially from those who appear to be part of the Church (you may read Ephesians 5: 1-16 for an Paul’s overview). In this write-up, I present briefly the characteristics of the typical believer and discuss six types of unbelievers and how we may live with them. Three Typical Characteristics of the Believer (Based On Mt 11:29) ·          Salvation-Oriented Lifestyle: They live a life of grateful sacrifice, knowing they have been spared eternal damnation through the sacrifice of Christ, they are compelled by the love of Christ to live and work for the salvation of ot...

MARRIED TO GODSLOVE

Image
A Poem To all the guys and Kuuku Married to a woman who fears God more Than she fears me, what do I have to fear? Since, with all her being she loves God more How will I ever lack genuine acts of love? In the morning she gathers her household At the feet of her beloved Lord Through the day she goes about her toils Solely minded of His pleasure, she smiles Before bedtime, she kneels in His adoration, She supplicates, forgives and intercedes   My name comes up somehow and my place   Is made secure before the throne of grace Were she to fear or love me more than God   She would soon be angry and very afraid That I am unable to care like God would And she would be a heavy load on my head So, my son, this key too I give you: When your time comes to find a wife Look out for a woman like your mother, who Fears and loves God more than she loves you ‪#‎ WhyIfollowJesus‬

Feed My Sheep: A Person the Lord Trusts with His Flock Main Reading: John 21:15-19 Jesus called twelve disciples, and at His resurrection, one stood tall – Peter to whom He said, “Feed my sheep”. This injunction primarily meant Peter was to lead the rest in prosecuting the agenda of the growing church. Peter was entrusted with feeding and tending the lambs and sheep of the Lord. The lambs could refer to children and new believers, while the sheep referred to older and more mature believers as well as people who are seeking Jesus (see John 10:14-16, 26-27; Mt 10:14, 1 Pe 2:2) What made Peter stand out among the rest of the apostles is not particularly difficult to discern, and they provide ample clues about what Jesus meant by “Feed my sheep”, the very ministry that Peter undertook. Here are some of the key qualities that stood Peter out a trustworthy Christian Shepherd: 1. Confession of Sinfulness : Peter is the only apostle on record to have confessed to the Lord that h...

See Josh. 9) Beyond the above circles everybody else wa...
