DRAW NEAR TO GOD

A Devotional Outline Our regular coming to God is our expression of love for Him which has excellent rewards. Here are some ways we draw near to god, and the corresponding promises to claim: Fellowship with other believers – “there am I in the midst of them.” Matt. 18:20 Reading and meditation on His Word – “and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper” Psa. 1:3 Regular prayer and devotion – “obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” Heb. 4:16 Listening to the Word – “faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” Luke 6:47 Offering H im Praise – “I will show him the salvation of God” Psalm 50:23 If we stay away from God, we remind Him of a certain cool day in the Garden of Eden ... No Genesis 3:8 anymore! For some time ago we could not draw near, “But now in Christ Jesus you who were once afar off are made near by the blood of Christ” Eph. 2:13 Let us drawn near Him that He may draw near to us James 4:8 Just as I am am...Nearer my God to Thee...I wil...

Worse than Death

The End of a Friendship, Worse than Death When you are gone and you were still my friend I remember you with a smile, I miss you My look is far off and I am thinking of you I know that when I meet you, even after this life Our hearts will light up together Like the day our friendship began When you are alive somewhere and our friendship has ended I dread to remember you, I dare not miss you My eyes dart here and there, and I struggle not to think of you I know when I meet you, even in this life Our hurts will get in the way Like the day we went each his way

Reliable Opinions

This day has been fruitful for me, using MTN's 60mb with GHC2, I have studied blogger quite well. It is fantastic. And has great potential for people who mus collect some useful data for fairly reliable decision making. I am testing the polling, so I have created some. Like joke, but we may find this useful, as you cannot vote twice. Please vote here, and forget about politics, if you like. See you soon.

As You Are

Musing on the sermon for my penultimate lap at my current station. I want to get all the stuff in Job (still holding on to your integrity) and Acts(Dress your mat, Christ Jesus heals you) with Romans 10:9,10 as the linchpin. Why do I want to do that? I want to inspire my people to focus on the two principles of tapping into the matchless benefits of our High Priest Jesus Christ, namely Speaking, and Acting in Faith always. I have been seriously challenged once again by Matthew 11:11-13, and I am certain we must beat the people we were named after. For example, an Elijah on this side of the cross must prove greater than the most famous Elijah. (I am Seth, and I cannot find much that He did. He was left out in the Hebrews 11 list.) I am so refreshed in Christ now that, I want to take another rest and see you soon. Thanks for your patience.

BEING LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD - BY PASTOR SETH ACQUAYE

BEING LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD – II “For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God” (Rom. 8:14 NLT). God has promised in His Word to lead His people and communicate with them through the Holy Spirit. The reasons include: · God's desire to draw closer to His people and reveal His purposes to them ·The presence of a cacophony of voices from human philosophy, wrong and demonic teachings and a great onslaught on the Church · Complacency and suffering of God's people · God's provision for His redeemed people to stand the test of deception · God's provision for His redeemed people to forsake and overcome complacency so that they would be restored to God's blessings and purposes and to be refreshed with fulfilment “And now you Gentiles have also heard the truth, the Good News that God saves you. And when you believed in Christ, he identified you as his own by giving you the Holy Spirit, whom he promised long ago. The Spirit is God's guarantee that he wil...
